The Wedding Fair

Our story

Good things happen face to face.

I’ve been a wedding celebrant since 2009. Time and again, my favourite couples and my favourite weddings have come from meeting face to face at small wedding fairs and venue open days.

Today, I believe there’s more value than ever in those meetings. I wanted to create a new way for them to happen in a modern wedding industry. So, after thinking about it for far too long, I started The Wedding Fair.

Your wedding is the picture.
The venue is the frame.

I’ve always thought of a wedding venue as the frame around a picture. The frame isn’t the picture itself, but it presents it beautifully and helps everyone experience it. Your wedding is that picture.

That’s why I don’t think a stand in a convention centre, with a collection of venue photos, can tell the whole story. We should go to the venue. Walk through it. Experience it as you and your wedding guests would on the day.

The idea is simple: a travelling wedding fair that goes from venue to venue, showing each place in its own unique way. We bring the fair to the venue, so you can experience the setting and meet the people face to face.

That’s the heart of The Wedding Fair. A chance to spend time in a place, have a proper conversation and picture your wedding there.
